  • “I would highly recommend them. Paul had the vision to develop a creative solution for a broken hot water heater previously installed in a closet. He came up with a plan to reconfigure the lines to install a flash heater in a utility closet, which allowed us to gain additional closet space in our family room.”

  • “We had our house re-piped by them. They showed up on time, were efficient, and finished the same day. As my screen printing shop is in the basement of my house where the pipes run through the rafters, it was critical to have as little down time for my shop as possible. I was delighted. We recommend them with enthusiasm.”

  • “Paul has come to the rescue on a couple of occasions; Pipeline installed really clean copper piping to bring our shower back to life and he also did a great job with the claw foot tub. He came highly recommended to us by a neighbor. He’s efficient, courteous, competitively priced and comes with a British accent!”

Most older homes – which means most homes in the East Bay – were built with galvanized plumbing, where the steel pipes were coated with zinc on the interior to prevent rust from forming.

Over time, the zinc coating gradually wears away, exposing the iron and making it rust. While not harmful in low doses, rust can make your water taste unpleasant, and stain your laundry.

Re-piping your home with copper pipes will boost water pressure throughout your home, give you fresh, clean, clear water, and increases your property’s value.

Pipeline Plumbing is a full-service local plumbing company which completes most re-piping jobs in just one day. Owner Paul Gerrard is a British transplant and, despite his youthful appearance, has over 20 years of plumbing and heating experience.

He served a 3-year apprenticeship with his father’s plumbing company while obtaining his qualification in Mechanical Engineering Building Services. He moved to the US ten years ago, and after working with some well known East Bay plumbing companies, started Pipeline Plumbing in 2000,

“We do all forms of plumbing-related work from minor repairs to major kitchen and bath remodels,” says Paul.

“We also focus on ecologically-friendly, “green” plumbing and heating systems designed to protect the environment, reduce waste and save you money in the long term.

Pipeline Plumbing are expert in tankless “instant hot water” heaters, solar hot water, (hydronic/ “radiant”) heating, and earthquake-safe gas valve installation.

“We offer very fast response, and great value for money.” Paul explains. “I think that we have just the right blend of technical expertise and customer service.

“We are known for our professionalism and attention to detail.”
