  • “Ian was great to work with, and his crew came in and did everything on time. They were professional and I was impressed that they were so efficient. They were on budget, and they only bill you for the work that is actually done. We were very happy with them!”

  • “They completely tore out and re-landscaped our whole front yard. We had a slate patio and circular cobblestone put in, and they look great. Harris was easy to work with, and followed the landscape architects design perfectly.”

  • “They did a big job— landscaping our backyard. The work was good quality, and they were easy to work with. We had a few problems and they fixed them right away without any hassle.”

Professional landscaping requires the integration of nature, art and technology. Harris Landscaping is known for its exceptional ability to bring these disparate elements together to create delightful gardens that owners find thoroughly satisfying.

If you don’t already have a landscape plan, owner Ian Harris will refer you to professional landscape designer Fran Adams for assistance. Nationally certified, Fran is innovative, fluent in the major landscaping styles, and a thoughtful listener.

“She collaborates with our customers in a way that respects their requirements and inspires their creativity,” says Ian about the design process.

“Together we provide the guidance they need to make aesthetic and practical decisions that will yield most value for their money.”

Once the project is defined, the company swings into action, tackling demolition, drainage, grading, soil preparation, paving, carpentry, masonry, lighting, water features, and planting with practiced skill.

“Most of my men have been with the company for many years, and are well-trained,” Ian notes.

“Through time I have also developed a list of excellent subcontractors I can call upon for specialized tasks when it makes financial sense for the client.”

Harris Landscaping has won many awards since opening its doors in 1980. Plaques line the office walls, honoring projects ranging from small renovations to large residential installations. The company is active in the California Landscape Contractors Association and the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, and is a member of the Better Business Bureau.

“Clear communication with clients and quality work are our top priorities,” Ian says.

“We want people to have good memories of us and be genuinely pleased with their landscaping for years to come.”
